Founded by Tyler Verba, a McHenry native, VISION313 is rooted in values of family and community. Tyler and his wife Erin, along with their three children—Hanna, Alexander, and Kiera—are committed to supporting a healthy culture that values our local education system and environmental stewardship. Growing up in McHenry’s schools, Tyler developed a passion for sustainable development, one that harmonizes human growth with nature.

VISION313 is on a mission to combat the destructive impacts of human development. We take proactive steps to restore and revitalize our environment, clearing invasive species, enhancing natural ecosystems, and planting native trees and plants. Our specialty lies in chemical-free, hybrid methods that combine human skill with advanced technology. With low-ground-pressure forestry units, we can efficiently process large amounts of biomass while preserving the land.

Our latest endeavor involves a unique approach to rewilding, incorporating sheep, llamas, goats, and Kune Kune pigs to support environmental renewal. We’re also committed to repurposing viable wood from our projects to create natural, upcycled wood products, enriching both the environment and local economy.

I see this life as a true gift. At the heart of everything I do is the urge to leave spaces in a renewed state. Everything from the work I undertake to the interactions with others, I find it essential to bring forth a kind of beauty in life. We live in a fast-paced world with much going on; much can be forgotten or cast aside in this environment. But it is a fundamental belief of mine to do my best to keep all aspects of life desirable.
